Dozens of students have been urgently taken to hospital on Wednesday afternoon in the Fier high school as a result of a respiratory problems attack.
Sources in the hospital suggested that the school premises has been sprayed with “pepper gas” as was suspected in the similar event a few days ago.
In today’s incident the number of people injured, generally school students, is several times higher, as 30 of them were officially hospitalized.
In a statement, the local PD leader in Fier, Luan Baci, said the recurring event at the Fier gymnasium is very serious and the police, municipality and education officials are hiding the truth of the event.
“I would like to start from the first event, in the same school, with the same cause, which is still not known. Today’s repetition in larger proportions is dramatic. The event is very serious and there has been a delicate cooperation between the police, the educational directorate and hospital to hide the truth. According to informations i have, such a case was repeated on a Fier-Levan line bus a few days ago. Today they have come to a preliminary conclusion that kind of blocking, paralyzing spray was used. Why didn’t the police investigate it before?”, Baci asked.
