“Fiks Fare” reported a flagrant case in which two former high-rank
officials of the “Berisha” government have received soft loans that are
used for the homeless, to buy a residential home in the Gjiri I Lalzit
area, Durres.

Fiks Fare cameras documented everything and reported the manipulation made through the legal documents.

“Fiks Fare: revealed how a former legal adviser of the former Prime Minister Berisha, Admir Drago, and the former Deputy Minister of Justice in the Berisha government, Brikena Kasmi, profited from a soft loan of 5 million ALL each for the same apartment in the Area A of the villas at the Gjiri I Lalzit. Both of them have been offered as escrows for each other for loans that they have taken for the same apartment. Besides them, other escrows are the parents of the former Deputy Minister.

A government decision of 12 September 2007 guarantees soft loans for state officials only for residences in the places where they have to continue their duties. But none of them has had their offices at the Gjiri I Lalzit, where they took their home as homeless.
