The former German Chancellor, Gerhard Schröder, said he was optimistic
for the steps taken by Albania in the EU integration path.
“My impression is that the progress reached here in the past years is very cl;ear. The reform recently launched by the government will push Europe to reflect, and Albania to understand that it is an integral part of the EU. At least this is what I hope. A lot has been done for this and I could see this in all talks that I have held. This is why I hope that this process will continue”, said the former Chancellor of Germany, Gerhard Schröder.
As a Social-Democrat, he doesn’t forget to specify the role of the left government.
“I hope that this process, led by Mr.Rama, will continue its path. I wish him luk for the next elections. He is part of the European left democrats, and a good part of it”, Schröder said.
