School Gyms open after school and on weekends, part of Tirana Municipality’s “sport education” campaign

After “Shkolla e Kuqe”, another school in Tirana opened the doors of its sportive terrains for young members to use them in the afternoons and during weekends.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, played basketball today with children at the “4 Deshmoret” school, where he said that the campaign for raising awareness about sport will turn into a success story for youth.

Veliaj underlined that the gyms opened in 62 Tirana schools will turn into community centers for sportive education and entertainment.

He appealed parents to register children in sportive classes, which will help them grow healthier and safer.
