Sarkozy: Kosovo can rely on us

French president, Nicolas Sarkozy, sent a message to his Kosovo homologue,
Atifete Jahjaga, to whom he guaranteed the support of France in the
integration processes.
“In this road, for realizing this ambition, you can count on the help of France, as you have counted on our support for recognizing and strengthening your state”, Sarkozy said in his message.
The French Head of State has also encouraged the Kosovo President to make the needed reforms for consolidating the new state not only in economy, but also in the rule of law.
“Since the independence, Kosovo has undertaken significant reforms. But other reforms are needed, especially for the consolidation of the institutions, the rule of law and the integration of national minorities”, Sarkozy added.
