The Saranda Police has seized more than 400 kg of cannabis sativa, whish was to be trafficked to Greece.
The operation was undertaken on Wednesday night, in the Ciflig village. The police received information for two suspects who transported a considerable quantity of hashish.
After seeing the police, the suspects have shot in the air and escaped beyond the Greek border. The Police seized 405 kg of hashish that was hidden in a bunker, and then started following the suspects, with the help of the Special Forces.
The Greek police was also put in motion, after being notified by the Albanian colleagues. The manhunt is still undergoing.
