After being suspended for 10 days from the Parliamentary session, the
former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, has returned once again as
the main voice of the opposition in the podium.
The opposition used the annual report of the Prosecution for 2013 to accuse the government about the crime situation in our country, for which they used banker Artan Santo’s murder as an argument.
The former Prime Minister raised questions about the murder, asking why police roadblocks in Tirana’s exits were unable to catch the executors.
“This showed that either he was killed by the government, because I have no evidence about this, or the state didn’t function. But you killed him and humiliated him for a second time. You, for your own reasons. I appeal the Prosecution to investigate, but you involved him in the Columbian lead. In the Mamurras lead. Now you have to lie even to the dead”, Berisha declared.
“Based on the concerns raised in this room by the hyenas of the Albanian politics, we encourage the Albanian government to catch the killers. The government must catch those criminals who challenged the state in broad daylight, while politics must come together and support the police to arrest them and bring them to justice”, Taulant Balla declared.
