The police investigations have connected the murder of banker Santo with
Fushe Kuqe, the center of heroine traffic that was discovered a few
weeks ago. The reason for this is that the traces of the killers were
found close to this area.
For this reason, a police operation supported by the RENEA special forces started this Thursday in the area, but didn’t given any result.
Another operation led by the second person in charge of the state police was conducted in the Fushe-Kuqe area, searching some suspected houses for any possible evidence.
Most of the Lezhe Police were engaged in this operation. The area was surrounded early morning and roadblocks were established for any possible attempt for escaping.
The strict police measure were taken after some operative data showed that the motorcycle used for the murder was hidden in this area, but not exactly where.
After a detailed information, police left the area but they remain convinced that this is where the killers started their trip before committing this crime.
Santo was executed last week in Tirana, before entering his office at the “Credins” Bank.
