Four people masked as Santa Claus have robbed a mall jewelry in the suburbs of Tirana.
The robbers passed security because of their costumes on this Christmas Eve, and were able to take a large amount of money while keeping the jewelry store employee on gunpoint. They left the scene without being followed.
Right after the information, police forces arrived at the scene and started the investigation with eye witnesses and security cameras.
A police patrol reported a fire exchange with a group of persons in the Lanabregas. According to preliminary information, the persons might have fired shots against the patrol.
They have abandoned and burned the vehicle, and have escaped on foot. However, the police has been able to identify the plates of the vehicle.
The Interior Minister visited the scene, together with the General Police Officer, Artan Didi.
