The lawyer of Saimir Tahiri, Maks Haxhia, declared on Top Story that the document shown by the former Interior Minister on October 24th has no legal value.
“It has no legal value. The document that we received was not presented as the procedure requires. If this was needed we would address the Catania Prosecution”, he said.
Haxhia said on Top Story that the difference between the documents made public by Saimir Tahiri on October 24th, and the one published by Top Channel on the main news edition:
“There are two ways to withdraw a document. Your document was issued by the office-holder of the institution, while our document was received from the secretary. When you obtain it from the office-holder, it is different. Our document was taken from the secretary”, Haxia said.
The lawyer said that anyone can request such a document.
