Three former Commissioners of the elections 2009, in the Voting Center
3052, Ruzhdie Commune, were arrested by the police today. They are
Robert Myftari, Veledin Myftari and Vladimir Karaj, all accused of power
abuse.
The three former Commissioners had received a court verdict that obliged them to appear in court, while the Vlore Court of Appeal changed the measure by putting them in prison.
The criminal procedure starts with a report of the Socialist Party for the five commissioners of Ruzhdie. The suspicions were confirmed by the crime lab, after graphic experiements of the signatures given by the electors.
The TIMS verifications show that the five commissioners had violated the legal procedures, since they were abroad when they appeared to be voting in Albania. The crime lab verified that there were falsified signatures for 80 other voters.
