The Patriarch of Russia, Krill, is expected to arrive today in Tirana for a two-day visit.
This is the first time that Kirill arrives in Albania. He will meet with Archibishop Janullatos, President Ilir Meta and other high-level officials.
Durings his stay in Albania, the Russian Patriarch will visit the Saint Vlash Monastery in Durres and Berat, says the Russian Orthodox Church in a press release.
Kirill and Janullatos have been friends for the past 50 years and this is not the first time they meet. It is the second time that this meeting is organized in Albania.
