Two Russian journalists have entered the territory of Kosovo illegally,
accompanied by a Serbian national. They will appear at the Prishtina
Court for ignoring the law, while representatives from the Russian
embassy are working for their liberation.
The Kosovo Police spokesperson, Daut Hoxha, said that the Kosovo Police is holding the journalists until a further decision.
“Indeksonline” has learned that Oksana Sazonova and Sergej Belous have entered Kosovo to report about the teaching of Russian language in Serbian ethnic schools.
Moscow has engaged their embassy representative and is working with the Kosovo Foreign Ministry and EULEX for a quick release of journalists.
