Russian ISIS fighter arrested in Albania

The Albanian state police arrested a Russian citizen, ISIS fighter, who was hiding in Albania.

R.M, a 34-year-old, resident of Norilsk, Russia, is waiting for extradition to his birth country.

Official sources confirm that the arrest was made possible thanks to a cooperation of the Albanian authorities with partner law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

The man was wanted by Russia for terrorism, and had entered Albania illegally.
