Mary Dejevsky, a renowned British expert, says Russia is getting closer
to recognizing Kosovo, as part of a wider agreement between Moscow and
Washington, after Donald Trump sits at the White House.
According to BalkanInsight, Dejevsky’s comments on “Tablet” reflect the results which might derive after a possible Trump-Putin meeting.
Trump has declared several times that he wants to sit and discuss with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in order to give a new course to US-Russian relations.
Dejevsky says that Moscow might recognize Kosovo as part of a plan for giving an end to diplomatic stalemates, after the Cold War.
