The Institutions of Kosovo have been concerned by the UN, after Russia
handed over a draft for the creation of the Special Court for the War
Crimes in Kosovo, a draft planned by Moscow that was given to Kosovo
Parliament Members during a visit in New York.

One of the Parliament Members who saw the resolution, said for Top Channel that it even foresees the return of UNMIK and Resolution 1244, and has the term “genocide” in many chapters. The new resolution foresees that the Special Court for Kosov should have no term, but continue with a new resolution of the Security Council, where Russia should have the right to veto.

The Russian resolution has also entered the procedures of the fifth committee for finances inside the UN Organization, which has reviewed the financial cost, in case it will be approved by the UN.

The Parliament Speaker of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, declared this Monday that they are waiting for the government to pass the draft law for the Special Court, convinced that Kosovo is able to create this Court on its own.

Veseli declared that the Parliament will gather on June 18th, in a regular plenary session to review some draft las and report of independent agencies.
