The Italian writer and journalist, Roberto Saviano, wrote about Albania in this week’s article on “Espresso”.
He argues the reasons why Italian businesses have moved to Albania, mentions what has changed in our country, without sparing critics which he says are very similar to those for Italy.
Corruption, criminality and the judiciary problems on one side, the development vitality and the perspectives on the other, are making Albania be seen more as the country of opportunities.
“Italy should not see Albania anymore as a small, unfortunate and poor little sister that can never leave that role”, Saviano writes. He says that the Italian politics did not know how to welcome foreigners.
The journalist who lives still under police protection, due to the reports against the Naples mafia, mentions the Albanian students who visit Italy for study, and Albania attracts more investors than Italy due to the tax policy.
