The deteriorated weather conditions of the recent days and the increased
flux of traffic, with the arrival of the emigrants for the winter
holidays, have maximally engaged the unit of highway inspection
throughout the country.
The agents of these units have been inspecting the main national roads of the country, especially the ones with ice and snowfall problems.
The highway inspection has not allowed vehicle movement without tire chains, or by blocking traffic in roads with worse conditions.
This unit has taken all measures for monitoring the axes that have more traffic, due to the emigrants’ arrival. The axes that connect Tirana with Rinas and the Durres Port are under constant monitoring, same as the axes at the border checkpoints throughout the coyuntry. Besides the supervision, the police officers have applied severe administrative measures for drivers who violate rules.
