The Albanian Road Authority made an update for the entire country today.
The Tirana District had no problem, although some areas had snow precipitations.
Authorities in Durres advise drivers to be careful, due to the heavy rains.
There are several problematic roads in Elbasan, such as: “Librazhd-Fushe Stude, which has 40 centimeters of snow; the Stebleva road is entirely blocked; the national road Librazhd-Qafe Thana has 25 centimeters of snow, but the road can be crossed without tire chains. The Elbasan-Gjinar road is still blocked, due to the damages asphalt. The Osum exit and the Cerrik-Gramsh road is blocked. Vehicles can only pass through the Gramsh-Kacivel-Elbasan axes. Landslide has been registered inD erven, the Elbasan-Rrogozhina section.
There have been some reports of landslides in Berat, near the Ura e Pizes-Corovoda area.
In Vlore, water has blocked the old road at the Ura e Mifolit, and the Fier-Vlore highway has been damaged.
The road authority advises citizens to avoid movement in the areas that have been flooded by Vjosa and at the Fier region, where there are no blocked roads, besides the Darzeza and Ferras areas. In this part, the rural roads deep in the flooded zone are impassable.
Landslides in Gjirokaster have dropped huge and dangerous stones in the Shkalla e Zeze area, near the National Road.
There are snow precipitations in Korce, where roads are open, but authorities suggest a usage of chains in axes known for being dangerous.
Roads have been damaged in Kukes, theTraget-Lekbibaj section, while snow in Bajram Curri is still at 1.3 meters.
There are no problematic roads in Diber, despite the rains. In Shkoder have been reported problems with landslides in Puka, but the circulation has not been interrupted.
