The Democratic Party reported what they considered as new facts that
shed light on the spying device scandal, one day after the Court
verdicts that returned Chief of Police Haki Cako at his duty, and after
the Mayor of Kavaja was left in house arrest.
The General Secretary of the DP, Arben Ristani, says they have information from the Secret Service and they have sent it to the President and the Prime Minister.
“The equipment has been used near the Prosecution General offices, at the Rruga e Elbasanit. It is near the Public Television and the Municipality of Tirana. These are the movements that have been documented so far, based on the report of a media that refers to a Secret Service document”, Ristani said.
He added that Edi Rama has all the reasons to put obstacles to the investigation: “Rama blackmails judges to have the Chief of Police returned to his duty. On behalf of the opposition, I appeal the Prosecution to investigate this”, Ristani said.
