Rexhepi: Kosovo ready for visa liberalization

Kosovo authorities declared that they will ask European Commission
representatives to be more active with the Kosovo visa liberalization matter. The Interior Minister, Bajram Rexhepi, declared that Kosovo has
fulfilled the technical conditions for being included in this process.

However, due to the experience of EU with Macedonia and Serbia, he has not excluded the possibility that Kosovo will suffer side effects.

“We are rightfully expecting to fulfill the technical conditions in the first half of the next year, but judging by what has happened until now, there might be side effects”, Rexhepi declared.
