Reunion of Germany

Present in the reception were Albanian political personalities, such as the Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the opposition leader Edi Rama and the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha.

The reception celebrates the German October, a month filled with a series of activities. The Cultural Attachè of the German Embassy in Albania, Harald Schindler, announced for Top Channel the events schedule and the topics of this year.

“This is the fifth edition of the German October. The other four regarded the relations between Germany and Albania, and other important issues, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall. This time we decided to make something new and different. We decided to choose a theme that belongs to the future, such as the climate changes and renewable energy. Surely, the German October is not only about renewable energy and climate change. We have many other events regarding culture. The premiere opera show of the “Magic Flute”, by Mozart, is one of them. We will also present books, different concerts, and fashion shows of Albanian designers, who presents modern clothes based on Albanian traditional costumes”, Schindler declared.

The German embassy has also offered a web page where people can find information for the events that will be held.
