Residents near Vjosa have not been notified about upcoming floods

If meteorologists are right, Panajoti’s house will be flooded this Friday, but he knows nothing about this.

Authorities have not notified any of the residents in the area. They learn everything from the media only.

Residents in Levan and Frakull have suffered frequent floods during the past years. The same situation is in Ferras, Fier, near the Vjosa River.

Rains in Greece will fill the rivers with water and it will take just a few hours for homes in Fier and Vlora to be flooded.
