Residents of the Rinas village near the Tirana international airport continued today the protest against the decision of the authorities to turn the road in unique sense of passage.
They blocked the roundabout in front of the airport, opposing the decision of the ARA road entity, arguing that the houses remain blocked, with no possibility of supplying or sending children to school. Residents of the locality blocked the roundabout in the entry of Rinas airport and marched towards the school in order to show that they have no way to pick up or take their children to the local school.
The protest was also attended by children who demand the freeing of the street. Police were also at the scene. Residents have warned that if there is no reaction from the government, the protest will escalate.
The authorities have decided that for an indefinite period the movement to the airport will be realized with one sense of movement, according to them to facilitate the entry into the capital of the people arriving during the summer season.
