Two fishermen disappeared this Sunday in Durres, and there has been no sign about them yet.
Avni Shahinaj and Bekim Mancinaj went fishing with a small boat but they never returned.
On the same day, their alarmed relatives asked the police for help. The coast guards and border police launched an operation along the shore, helped by many relatives of the fishermen.
One boat was found near the Kepi I Palit, but it didn’t match the boat of the two missing fishermen.
The sea this Sunday was very turbulent and the 5 degree waves might have toppled the fishermen vessel.
The cold temperatures and the distance from the shore might have left them low chances of survival.
