“RENEA” Special Police divers take out pieces of drowned helicopter

A group of RENEA (Special Police) divers searched for evidence around
the drowned helicopter. Confidential sources say they took out parts of
the pilot’s seat and other important elements for the investigation.
The experts of the Airbus Helicopter company observed the site, verified the parts and were updated by the Albanian military authorities. The recovered parts were transported to the Shkoder Police as evidence for the Prosecution. The next phase of the operation was interrupted due to atmospheric conditions.
Vlore Divers have also arrived to help with the search. The operation will continue during the weekend.
