The RENEA forces have started an operation for catching a very dangerous criminal in Diber.
Petrit Dushi, 44, is wanted for murder and forgery. The operation is still ongoing in a very difficult mountainous area, with the help of air forces.
Dushi has allegedly fired shots against the police, without hurting anyone. Police thinks the suspects might also be wounded.
Petrit Dushi is a notorious name for the police. 13 years ago he killed a person in Kacinar, Mirdita, on the day when the victim had his daughter’s wedding.
Dushi has been living on the run for 10 years and in 2013 he killed the uncle of his father, Mark Jaku, in Ungrej, Lezhe, the man that sheltered him for some time. Since then he has been living in the mountains of Mirdita.
