Pharmacists say that by removing VAT on medicine, many medicaments will have lower prices for buyers.
“Removing VAT from medicaments will directly affect the final price and it will help citizens”, declared Armand Koni, a pharmacist.
But severla say that this measure could create irregularities, if the market will not resolve the situation for the stock medicine.
“There are medicaments with and without VAT on the market. There will be confusion and irregularities. But VAT will certainly affect the citizens”, Koni declared.
The government decided to remove the 10% tax, imposed by the Democratic Party last year, and calculates to ease the citizens with 10 million USD. But what remains to be seen if this profit will go to buyers or if it will be taken illegally by traders.
