Removing taxes for basic food

The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, accused the Albanian Prime
Minister, Sali Berisha, of avoiding facts about the increased price of
basic food products and about the debt lists in food stores, which according
to him reaches a 150 million EUR value, and of slandering the opposition’s
program.

“Berisha is surprised how the taxes for 95% of the Albanians will be removed. No, taxes will not be removed, but they will be lower for 95% of the Albanians. Those who have nothinig to eat will have lower taxes, and those who live by their work, their land and who work 16 hours a day, having to pay for gas with the same price that the Prime Minister pays for his Mercedes’ gas, will have lower taxes too”, Rama declared.

Using the term “bulletproof vest grandfather” for the Prime Minister, Rama declared that his bad governing has turned Albania into the country of poverty and which has killed hopes, same as in Maliq, where swamps are appearing once again.

“The famous swamps that we heard about when we were young, today are back and showing their face in the fertile fields of Maliq. The choice is clear for the June 23rd elections. Whoever wants the government’s power over their head, they can vote for the bulletproof vested grandfather. Who wants a government that helps them, they need to vote the Socialist Party”, Rama declared.
