Representatives of several religious radios, media scholars and experts, MPs and public institution directors, religious leaders and other representatives gathered this Wednesday in Tirana for the conference “Religious Radios in Albanian Language”.
The Audiovisual Media Authority, who organized the activity, wants bring to attention the contribution that religious radios have to our community, especially in promoting religious harmony and co-existence.
The Minister of Culture, Elva Margariti, stressed the importance of this meeting, although religious tolerance has been one of Albania’s greatest values in the past 30 years.
The Minister declared that the religious media outlets are still promoting an environment of tolerance in Albania, doing this way a great service to the country.
