Milva Ikonomi is appointed as the interim director of the Fund of Health
Care Insurance, after the resignation of the former Director, Astrit
Beci.
This has been confirmed by the Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj, who made the announcement while inaugurating a MRI at the Trauma Hospital, which deals with most of serious cases of accident or firearm victims.
“The Trauma hospital not only had no resonance, but in 2013, when we arrived here, there was no scanner neither. The MRI is a very important instrument for many surgeries”, declared the Director of the Hospital, Gjovalin Bushi.
Minister Beqaj underlined that the Trauma Hospital is completing its well known doctors with the infrastructure that had been missing so far.
“During these 20 months we have invested 1.6 million USD, by repairing the old scanner and by installing a new one 10 months ago. Now we installed the MRI”, the Minister declared.
