The Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, declared that soon they will start working for rehabilitating the Lana River, which, according to him, will eliminate the biggest environmental catastrophe in the capital.
The Municipality’s project foresees its return into a recreative area and eliminating dangers that come for residents from pollution with sewage waters and inert materials.
According to the mayor, the financing authorities of Tirana’s strategic project, the prolonging of the boulevard and the rehabilitation of the Lana River will be constructed within two years. The goal of this project is to return the river of Tirana into a blue artery, with green areas and access to children and senior citizens.
Basha added that this is good news coming for the citizens on the verge of November 22nd, the that the new government has chosen for a clean Albania.
