The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta, celebrated the Summer Day in
Gjirokaster, where he met with the young members of the Youth Movement
for Integration. After the meeting, Meta answered to the media interest
for the refugee crisis.
“The solution is not to have Albania face the refugee crisis. We will do our part, based on what we can”, Meta said.
He said that the EU and USA must end this crisis in the countries of origin, while Albania can give its contribution.
Meta spoke about passing the final draft of the Venice Commission for the Justice Reform.
“All parties have expressed their clear will. We have all agreed for the standards that will be decided by Venice, which has removed disagreements”, Meta said.
