The Netherlands supports the proposition of Donald Tusk for creating platforms through which they will process asylum seekers outside of Europe.

The Dutch Prime Minister, Mark Rutte, said that the plans of the European Council President are not clear, but their propositions are about Egypt, Tunisia and Albania.

The Guardian has published a news, saying that no Northern African country accepts immigrants.

The European Commissioner for Immigration, Dimitris Avramopoulos, confirmed that the EU have made requests to intensify the cooperation with Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia, Niger and Morocco, with the purpose to create a regional scheme for sheltering them.

But none of these countries has accepted the idea, although there has been no official proposition.

One day ago the Dutch government expressed their serious concerns about the corruption and organized crime in Albania. “More progress is needed on these two points”, said the Foreign Minister of Netherlands, Abraham Blok, quoted by Telegraaf.

“However, the government has not decided yet if they will close their door to the Balkan country”, the newspaper continues.

For this reason, some parliamentary fractions are trying to stop Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
