The Commission for Education and Public Information approved the
procedure for filling vacancies at the Public Television Directing
Council.
The vice leader of this Commission, Alfred peza, explained the first steps of the process.
“There will be 40 candidacies within one month for 10 vacancies at the Public Television Directing council, who will be elected by the 10 new members of the PTDC. The third step is chosing the new General Director of the Public Television”, Peza declared.
Peza explained that the selection of the PTDC will be followed by consultations that will serve for reforms in this institution.
“We will hold a series of activities, including a meeting to discuss not only the procedural, legal and technical part of the process, but above all we will invite all interested parties to discuss the strategy and platform for reforming the public television”, Peza declared.
This procedure took only the votes of the majority in this Commission, since the opposition representatives were absent.
