On his second day in Croatia, the Albanian Prime Minister, Bujar
Nishani, met with the United States Deputy Assistant State Secretary,
Philip Reeker.
The announcement distributed by the Presidency says that Ambassador Reeker expressed his congratulations for the June 23rd elections, which he considered as the best ever held in Albania.
Nishani added that the transition is showing a maturity of the Albanian people, political class and democracy in Albania.
Nishani has been invited to Croatia for the celebrations on their accession to the European Union.
