The German authorities have seized a record-breaking quantity of marijuana that is suspected to come from Albania.
The 5.6 tons of drug were seized in a container, inside granite blocks. The German police declared that eight people have been arrested, among whom are two Albanian brothers living in Germany.
The identity of the suspects was not made public, while German authorities say that they have noticed this group two years ago.
This is the biggest quantity seized by the German authorities in the past 20 years. The drugs was about to be distributed in Italy, Netherlands and Germany, with a value of 20 million EUR.
