After losing the local elections, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, decided to organize the biggest opposition party.
The party leadership will meet to discuss the number of votes earned in every municipality and comparing the result with the three preceding processes, started from 2009.
They will also discuss how external factors such as the new territorial division and anti-democratic behavior of the government impacted the result.
However, the report doesn’t avoid the direct responsibility of the DP. They don’t blame the central leading structures, but see the behavior of the base as the problem, according to the report drafted by Arben Ristani, the General Secretary of the DP.
The same negative evaluation is made for the Democratic Party Youth Forum, since data show that youth up to 30 years of age make 27% of the electorate.
