The Red and Black Alliance criticized Prime Minister Berisha for
discharging 10 police officers because his car was hit with flour sacks
thrown by former politically persecuted people.
RBA representative, Rezart Balla, considered this action a completely political movement, since the Prime Minister has never fired police officers when they have failed to prevent the criminality wave that has swept the country.
“The government and its instruments used this weekend to take their recent shameful action, by firing dozens of police officers. Many citizens were robbed during this summer, but no policeman was punished for this situation. Berisha feel threatened by the flour sacks thrown by former politically persecuted people, to who he has denied their rights”, Balla declared.
According to him, this movement is a clear message that the government leader gives to the Police that in the next elections they must completely obey him.
“Berisha and his dependents have warned with the firing of the 10 police officers that during the elections of 2013, the police will do only what they say and not what the law says. Berisha has worn two bulletproof vests”, Balla added.
