The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, concluded his distant dialogue with the opposition leader through a sixth open letter, which is focused on the appeal for dialogue.
“My letters are coming to an end. This week is the last one for trying dialogue, which will be officially closed with the June 30th campaign. I have mentioned every important matter in the other letters, leaving no more for this one, except for the obligation to conclude some of the main things that are said and written”, the Prime Minister says in his letter.
“You are going back to the same usual behavior of burned mandates, electoral boycott and threats to use force for not allowing the people to vote on June 30th. This shows once again the panic from justice, which have blinded you and pushed you to an imaginary war of fight against tyranny. Albania is not in the hands of any tyranny. It is being led by a majority that was elected democratically to rule until 2021”, Rama wrote.
He added that Basha is losing support in this adventure: “The wake up from the dream of removi9ng a government without elections will be very painful for your political group and for you as a leader”, he wrote.
