One day after the strong declarations from Brussels, where EU expressed
through a diplomatic language the way how Tirana results were produced,
the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, addressed an official letter to
Catherine Ashton and Stefan Fule, by supporting their reaction and by
asking the authors of this theft, as they insinuate in their letter, to
take direct responsibility.
According to Rama, May 8th local elections did not contribute to help the political crisis that came after the manipulations of June 2009 elections, but on the contrary, played a role in their deterioration.
Valuing the role of the international community, Mr. Rama expressed the expectances of the Socialist Party and the opposition for the OSCE ODIHR report.
