The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, visited a family that benefited full economic assistance through the new scheme.
“Yesterday I was receiving 2800 ALL. With the new scheme I receive 9000, plus compensations”, said the father of the family.
Rama said that the new scheme checks every family about their transportation vehicles, properties they own, etc, so that they don’t receive it unfairly.
“The system has an error margin which we are verifying. Families that were unrightfully removed will be taken back in”, Rama said.
Minister Manastirliu explained that social administrators in municipalities are visiting every family to verify the mistakes.
