The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, and also next Prime Minister of
Albania, held a meeting with the United States ambassador to Tirana,
Alexander Arvizu, and a group of representatives at the US Chamber of
Commerce in Tirana.
The Ambassador confirmed his support to the new government and Edi Rama, and expressed his trust that the left government will answer to the citizens’ requests.
“We expressed our support for the new government and we are looking forward to cooperate with Albania through it. The United States trust that the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, and the Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, will answer to the voters’ requests”, decalred the United States ambassador.
