The Albanian prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that the objective of his
government is to clean Albania in all aspects, starting from public
order and economy.
While presenting the format “Let’s clean Albania further”, an initiative for presenting the achievements of the past two years in government, Rama said that this is a key moment of their mandate, a key moment of the path that our country is taking towards the making of a European country.
“We had the courage to undertake reforms that others before us did not have|. Rama declared.
“Two years ago everyone from south to north were concerned about crime. They wanted rule of law and protection. Today many have forgotten that situation, because bad things are easily forgotten once they’re over. We have returned the State Police to its place”, Rama declared.
As for the economic situation, Rama said there is still much to do about economy, but people should not forget two years ago it was on the brink of bankruptcy. “You cannot spend more than you earn, because you cannot live on debts. We made everything possible to reinforce the foundations and be sure that this building would not fall apart with us inside. We have a lot of work to do with it now”.
