After meeting with the US State Secretary, John Kerry, the Albanian
Prime Minister said for Top Channel that they did not discuss the issue
of the Iranian mujahedeens, but the Justice Reform and the National
Bureau of Investigation.
The Prime Minister underlined that the visit was part of the Balkan Tour that Kerry started last year, and its purpose was to deepen the strategic cooperation signed last week, which included the justice reform.
The Prime Minister said that March was mentioned as a deadline for passing the justice reform not because it was discussed with the US, but because it is part of the integration agenda. As for the mujahedeens, Rama said it has never been an issue of debate.
The Prime Minister said that Washington supports the National Bureau of Investigations as part of the general reforms in our country.
