The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, held a meeting with the Kutallia
residents, in Berat, where he promised the solution of their problems.
During his speech Rama underlined the agricultural infrastructure which, according to him, is the same as in the medieval times.
“Water has turned into a legend, as if we live in Sahara. I don’t know where Berisha’s paved roads are. From Lushnje to here, I saw no paved road”, Rama declared.
By noting the lack of conditions that favor the domestic production, Rama made a promise to the residents: “After the June 23rd elections, every farmer will have the government on their side. We will remove the 20% tax for bread, flour, milk, eggs and oil”, Rama declared.
The Socialist leader continued his campaign with the Revival team in Kucova, where made several promises to the Socialist electorate.
“We do not tell fairy tales. The bullet-proof vest grandfather tells them and lies to the Albanians, who he has forgotten”, Rama declared, promising that the situation will change.
“We will bring down the injustice wall. We will establish honest taxes. The Socialist Party will be a government that will stand by the citizens’ side”, Rama declared.
Rama: Politically dismissed employees will return to their jobs
Edi Rama told the Polican residents that they are witnessing a different reality from Berisha’s propaganda about the roads that are built in this area.
“There’s no bigger shame than the fact that this entire district has turned into a fake geographical pocket, with destroyed roads that remind you post-war scenes, not a country with 20 years in democracy. He’s all day on the road with his tribune, and has forgotten about finishing building those road. His goal is not to finish them, but to show them on the TV. As soon as Berisha leaves the area, no one thinks about finishing with the road construction”, Rama declared.
This is Edi Rama’s answer when asked by a resident about the people fired for political motives. “Everyone who was fired for political reasons, whose dignity has been violated and who have been left on the road, when they could serve to the Albanians with dignity, all of them will return to their posts”.
Another resident reported that state employees were obliged to travel to Corovoda for the Prime Minister’s meeting. For this Rama declared: “They have turned the Democratic Party into a transport agency, and the state has turned into a means of pressure and violence on every state employee”.
Rama: “I haven’t offended the Skrapari people”
From the “Kala” neighborhood in Berat, Rama declared that Berisha is lying when saying that the Socialist Movement for Integration leader, Ilir Meta, should ask Rama to apologize in Skrapar for the collective offenses.
“The grand-grandfather said in Skrapar today that Edi Rama should apologize for offending the Skrapari citizens. The unification of the Socialist Party with the Socialist Movement for Integration is historic and aims to close a dramatic chapter of the political, economic and social history”, Rama declared.
