Rama: “Vlore, a construction site”

Thanks to a fund from the Turkish government, the Pediatric Department
at the Vlore Regional hospital has been completely reconstructed. This
is the first step of a thorough reconstruction of the Vlore regional
hospital.

Prime Minister Edi Rama warned that Vlore will see the opening of some very big working sites. “The coastline working site is one of the most important ones, after an international tender that started with a funding of the European Commission and the Albanian government. The other working site is the entrance road which will connect the city with the highway, because we shouldn’t enter anymore to Vlore through a false pocket”.

For these projects to come to life, Rama underlined that the demolishing of illegal buildings is inevitable.

“Before starting with these constructions, together with the coastline or “Lungomare”, as they call it here, the Urban Inspectorate of Construction will come and fix abuses. There are many buildings that have blocked the city’s development for years. After removing them we will intervene in all neighborhoods”.

Rama, who is also MP of Vlore, sent this message to the citizens for energy: “No Vlora citizen will be honored to end up in prison for not paying electricity”.
