Rama: Victory in Tirana is clear

The Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, declared that the 2011
local elections were the ugliest in the reality of common people.

The socialist leader, also candidate of the Alliance for the Future for the Tirana Municipality, said during his first press appearance after the voting process closure, that the final result of these elections will be given after the counting process will be over. According to him, until now, there have been spectacular examples and proofs which show that these elections do not fulfill the international standards.

“These were the best elections for the screen, but the ugliest for the reality of common people. The pressure, the threats, the endless attempts to exert the pressure of the government, things that no one should bare from the Prime Minister”, Rama declared.

According to him, there have been problems starting with the prisoners voting around the city, which, according to him, is a shame for the election process.

“These problems do not endanger our victory, but make it even more appreciated. Victory in Tirana is clear, but we wait to listen about victory all over the country”, Rama said.
