The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared after the Parliament’s
voting for creating the Vetting Law that the majority will continue a
process that is irreversible.

“The politicians isolated in the tend, do it because they fear justice. Refusing to be part of a historic process that will liberate justice from the claws of corrupted judges, is a stain of shame for the Democratic Party, which they are also trying to give to Albania. One thing is clear: blocking vetting, damages Albania’s EU accession”, Rama said.

“Today we continued the path of an irreversible process. The Vetting Law may be delayed, but the purge of the Justice Palace will not be stopped. We will continue with every effort to find a solution, but if the Democratic Party leader continues like this, it will be an impossible mission even for the European Popular Parties”, Rama added.

The Prime Minister added that “this is not a political crisis, but a neural crisis of the DP”
