The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, said that the payment system at the Nation’s Road will not start without studying the best possible solution for the area and its citizens.
Rama admitted that there should have been meetings and consultations with citizens before starting the payment.
“What I and my government must reiterate, is our awareness about my responsibility, and our responsibility, for not giving enough explanations regarding this matter. We didn’t have the right intuition to understand the necessity of explaining before starting with the payment system”, Rama said in Parliament.
Rama added that this was a novelty for Albania, based on international practices, and that is why the informing wasn’t made earlier.
